Decades of Loyalty
HONOURING OUR
LONG-SERVERS
A year defined by loyalty -
and a personal thank-you from Sir Peter.
One of the most powerful themes of our 50th-anniversary year has been recognising the extraordinary loyalty of colleagues across Rigby Group. More than 1,700 people have been with the business for a decade or more. Almost 250 of you have stayed with the company for more than 30 years. It’s a remarkable achievement in any organisation, and something that speaks directly to the culture shaped over five decades.

A key part of the celebration has been the presentation of commemorative coins, designed specially for this anniversary year.
Across the spring, summer and autumn, Sir Peter made a determined effort to meet as many long-servers as possible, travelling across divisions and countries to thank colleagues personally. Since May, Sir Peter, James Rigby and their leadership teams have personally presented coins at dozens of events, including the SCC Engage conferences, and special long-server events across our UK businesses, and across offices in Spain, France, and Vietnam. And a final presentation event is taking place this week in Romania.

More than 1,000 coins have been handed out in this way, with the vast majority presented by Sir Peter himself. It became one of the most meaningful aspects of the anniversary for Sir Peter - a chance to shake hands, hear stories and recognise individual contributions face-to-face.
Understandably, not everyone has been able to attend an event in-person, so plans are in place to ensure anyone who is still waiting will receive their commemorative coin soon, together with a personal letter of thanks from Sir Peter.
This year’s long-service programme has been a reminder of what makes Rigby Group special: the people who stay, who grow with us, and who shape the culture that has defined the business for half a century.
