The ‘Golden Ticket’ Staff Competition - Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the "The Golden Ticket" staff competition ("Competition") organised by Rigby Group ("the Organiser"). By participating in this Competition, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

1. Competition Overview

  • Competition Name: The Golden Ticket
  • Purpose: To offer Rigby Group employees an exciting opportunity to win a significant holiday prize.
  • Organiser: Rigby Group

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Competition is open only to permanent employees of Rigby Group (RG) plc and all its subsidiaries, who are actively employed by Rigby Group on the winner selection date.

2.2. The following individuals are expressly excluded from participation:

  • Contractors
  • Temporary workers
  • Agency workers
  • Directors of Rigby Group
  • Any staff directly involved in the administration of the draw.

3. Competition Period

3.1. The Competition opens on June 10th, 2025. 

3.2. All entries must be received by November 30th, 2025, at 23:59 GMT. Entries received after this time will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

4.1. Mandatory Entry Method: Entry to the Competition must be made exclusively by filling in the designated online form.

4.2. Required Information: The online form must be completed in its entirety and include the following accurate details:

  • Your full name
  • Your Rigby Group email address (or personal email address, if you do not have a corporate email address).
  • The specific Rigby Group company you work for 

4.3. No Other Entry Methods: Entries submitted via any other method (e.g., email, postal mail, in-person submission) will be deemed invalid and will not be entered into the draw. 

4.4. Entry Limit: Only one (1) entry per person is permitted throughout the entire Competition Period. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in all their entries being disqualified.

5. The Prize

5.1. Prize Description: The winner will be eligible to book a holiday up to the value of £5,000. 

5.2. Prize Usage & Planning: The £5,000 prize will be managed by SCC's own VIP travel concierge, who will be on hand to help plan the trip. This can include assistance with flights, hotels, tickets, and experiences, for the competition winner and anyone they choose to invite. 

5.3. Booking and Validity: The holiday must be booked for travel during the calendar year 2026. It is for one single trip and cannot be used for multiple separate trips. Any unused value of the voucher cannot be retained for travel after 2026. 

5.4. Non-Transferable: The prize is strictly non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. 

5.5. Expiry: Any bookings made as part of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing travel provider/agency. The Organiser is not responsible for any unused portion of the voucher after its expiry.

6. Winner Selection

6.1. The winner will be selected by a random draw from all valid entries received by the closing date. 

6.2. The draw will take place within 5 working days after the Competition closes on November 30th, 2025. 

6.3. The decision of the Organiser regarding the winner selection is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Winner Notification

7.1. The winner will be notified via the email address they provided in their entry form within 5 working days of the draw. 

7.2. The winner must respond to the notification within 10 working days to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternative winner may be selected.

8. Prize Fulfilment

8.1. Details regarding the process to book the trip will be provided once the winner has accepted their prize. 

8.2. The Organiser will endeavour to provide access to the VIP travel concierge within 5 working days of the winner confirming acceptance.

9. General Conditions

9.1. Data Protection: All personal data collected during the Competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering this Competition and in accordance with Rigby Group's Privacy Policy. 

9.2. Right to Modify/ Cancel: The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition or these T&Cs at any time without prior notice, if deemed necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or technical issues. 

9.3. Disqualification: The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these T&Cs or any participant found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Competition. 

9.4. Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes related to the Competition without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. 

9.5. Limitation of Liability: The Organiser accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, computer hardware or software failure, network or server failure of any kind. 

9.6. Governing Law: These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1. In the event of any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of these T&Cs, participants are encouraged to first contact their Company’s HR department for informal resolution. 

10.2. Any formal legal disputes will be handled in accordance with the Governing Law specified in Section 9.6.
